WHAT WE DO
Now I Can Children's Fund is a permanently endowed fund held with the Burlington Community Foundation. Capital in the fund is invested and the income earned is distributed as grants in response to community needs at the discretion and direction of the fund holders. Annually, the fund holders will decide on a grant amount for a bursary to support an at-risk primary school child to attend an extracurricular activity, program, class or lesson. The Burlington Community Foundation will work with the Halton Learning Foundation to select a recipient. Bursaries will also be awarded on merit to students pursuing post secondary education.

Fundraising​
​The Fund was established with a personal donation made by the Barlett/Wynnyk family at Christmas, 2007. Additional contributions are made through fundraising activities , as well as personal and corporate donations. All amounts contributed to the Fund are maintained and administered by the Burlington Community Foundation. In addition to supporting not-for-profit child and youth programs through the BCF granting process, the fund holders also organize and host special skill based activities and events for inner city kids. CLICK for more...
